A few minutes of meditation a day can make all the difference to your health and wellbeing.
Clinical studies of meditation show that it lowers stress and anxiety levels for people that take up the practice. The downside being, that when you no longer meditate, the stress and anxiety returns.
Just 20 minutes of meditation or guided visualization three times a week will help you to lower your blood pressure or blood glucose levels. Imagine how good that will feel!
More workplaces are turning to offering meditation programs to staff to help them cope with workplace stress as further evidence is presented by neuroscientists on the efficacy of meditation as a tool to reduce stress and I can offer a tailor made Meditation Program as part of your staff wellbeing education program.
Hospitals and schools are amongst those institutions that are now beginning to offer meditation programs to their communities as meditation moves away from the perception of being an Eastern mystic or New Age practice.
Weekly Meditation and Wellbeing sessions
Meditate on a Monday evening.
A great way to start your week.
Weekly sessions, held during the Victorian school terms, provide a space for you to establish your meditation practice and are also suitable for experienced meditators who want to sit in circle with like minded people.
The series continues the cycle each term (major holiday periods excepted), so if you are not able to come in for every session, it will be repeated next term.
Come on a casual basis for $25 a session or prepay for a term for $140. Seating is limited, so please call and reserve your seat before 4pm on the Monday you are attending and to confirm the class is running.
